Differences between elbow and bend in manufacturing process

　　Elbow is a kind of pipe fittings commonly used in engineering projects. It is used to connect the pipe at the bend and change the direction of the pipe. It is used to connect two pipes with the same or different nominal diameter, making the pipes turn 90 °, 45 °, 180 ° and various degrees.

　　1. The elbow is shorter than the bend. If r = 1 to 2 times, it is elbow, and the larger multiple is bend.

　　2. The cold bend pipe can be bent by the ready-made straight pipe bender, and the one-time completion does not need the secondary anti-corrosion. But the elbow needs to be made to order by the manufacturer, it needs to be anticorrosive, and the order period is long.

　　3. The price of elbow is higher than that of bend, but the cost performance is much higher than that of elbow. The elbow without anti-corrosion treatment is easy to be damaged, but because of its low price, it is widely used in some projects with low requirements. So between the elbow and elbow performance and price is not the same, must pay attention to the selection.
