Chemical and mechanical properties of steel pipe fittings

　　The steel pipe fittings are made of carbon or alloy steel pipes, plates and profiles, which have certain shapes and can play a role in the pipeline system (change the direction or speed of the fluid). In general, these fittings include elbows (45 or 90 degree bends), tees, reducers (concentric or eccentric reducers), crosses, caps, nipples, flanges, washers, studs, etc.
